Donate a Car To Purple Heart

Updated: Apr 2, 2020

The association is looking for owners who wish to transfer a vehicle.Donating to a recognized association of general interest entitles you to a tax reduction.Purple Heart Car Donation Tax Deduction

However, we are attentive to the age, mileage and repairs to be made. This is why we cannot take back vehicles registered before the 2000s and with a mileage higher than:

+/- 150,000 km for petrol vehicles +/- 200,000 km for diesel vehicles.

We also ask you to provide us with a copy of the last technical inspection of the vehicle.

The association then takes care to revise through professional garages and relies on social workers and associations to identify the beneficiaries. Over-indebted households, solo moms, young people, and today's working poor, all are waiting for a helping hand to get back on the road to life.

In exchange for a vehicle donation, benefactors can claim a tax reduction.

Our volunteers travel everywhere in France

So you can leave your vehicle near you, we will take care of it.

You can donate: a car, a two-wheeler (moped, scooter or motorcycle), a small utility vehicle, rolling, not damaged, with a copy of the last technical inspection. The association will take care of the formalities in the prefecture.

You have nothing to do or pay.

The association Les Autos du Coeur will take care of repairs and any ironing at technical control.

You can help us !

The stakes are high: finding or keeping a job, especially in rural areas. So if a vehicle, a two-wheeler or even a utility vehicle that you want to sell can help, take the plunge!

At the end of your donation, the association Les Autos du Coeur will issue you, within 2 months, a tax receipt which you will then provide with the tax declaration and which will give you the right to tax exemption.

Donating a vehicle is also…

- It is to act to reduce the number of people receiving RSA and people assisted, thanks to work found.

- It is to encourage solidarity, reduce the social divide, revive hope.

- It is to fight against isolation, marginalization, depression.

- It is to refuse to be indifferent to the problems of very many families.

- It is to find a solution to their plight, because without money, no car and without mobility, no work.

- It is to create for these families more freedom, happiness, comfort, and make children forget the stress of "not being like the others".

- It is to reduce the number of unemployed, the number of work stoppages (due to breakdowns), and therefore lower the deductions from wages.

- It is to help all social workers in the public or private sector, reintegration associations, Pôle-Emploi, social services, the Red Cross, Forme Emploi points, COTOREP, Secours Catholique, Secours Populaire, Emmaus, etc.

- It is to increase the purchasing power of these people because mobility makes it possible to buy at the best price.

- It increases safety by removing from circulation often very dangerous cars refused by technical control but which, for lack of money, are still running.

The humanitarian association Autos du Coeur needs you.
